SHOCK HILL JAPANESE GARDEN

In 2018, these wonderful customers and new members of the Breckenridge community challenged us to build a high-country Japanese style garden with 5 differently themed regions: "white" "red" "blue" "wild" and "lavender." The process and result were both fun and phenomenal!

SUNNING PATIO

These homeowners and longtime Breckenridge locals were wishing for a more comfortable space to enjoy watching the grandkids shoot hoops in the driveway.
Aspen trees send out runners to sprout from their root systems, so we laid a plastic barrier to keep any roots from displacing our stonework down the road. The plastic barrier also does an excellent job of keeping all of the irrigation ground moisture where the roots can use it to help the trees more quickly increase the height of their shading canopy.

BLUE GRASS LAWN IN BLUE RIVER

These longtime residents of Blue River wanted something a little nicer to look at than the native, brown pine forest floor and decided that a new lawn space was the answer!
I think they made a great choice!
We fixed up their sandset stone landing patio while we were at it because they were such a pleasure to work with.

UNLIVABLE SPACE, TURNED GOOD LIFE GREENSCAPES!

This young family's new home in the Wellington Neighborhood needed a yard space for the little girls to be able to play and a patio for the parents to be able to socialize with all the new neighbors.

To soften the stone patio area, we seeded the spaces between each stone with creeping thyme!

Finest Flowers in Frisco

FLOWER BASKETS

We source beautiful, greenhouse-grown 15" hanging baskets and build our own railing baskets over Memorial Day weekend in order to bring the first splashes of color back to Summit County by the first week of June!

Be sure to contact us in November to measure your railing space so that we can give you an estimate by January 1st.

All flower orders MUST be placed by March 21st

-- as in, 3 - 2 - 1 -FLOWERS! -- in order to guarantee that your order is fulfilled by the greenhouse nursery!

BOULDER RETAINING WALLS

The goal of this project was to give the snowplow something far more difficult to tear up than the existing wooden timbers. First, we excavated 12" below the level of the asphalt, re-filled the area with 6" of 3/4" gravel that we then compacted, guaranteeing clean drainage of the hillside dirt being retained. We selected the flattest face of each boulder to create the smoothest wall possible for natural stone material. If the stone doesn't form a perfectly tight fit, then we use a different one, methodically and meticulously, until the puzzle is beautifully complete!
